About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Engineer/Geologist to join an enthusiastic team delivering ground investigation and geotechnical services to a wide range of clients across the UK.
Client focused and quality driven, our client are a leading provider of Ground investigation Services and now need a Assistant Engineer/Geologist.
This role would be best suited to a candidate with one to two years experience in the Ground Investigation sector.
Assist with the planning, supervision and programming of Ground Investigation projects at locations throughout the United Kingdom.
Help prepare Health & Safety documentation prior to and during the site works phase, as well as assisting with the managing the Health & Safety of operatives and promoting a safe working environment.
Complete logging of Soil and Rock in accordance with the specification and BS5930:2015.
Keep accurate field records of tasks performed.
I am looking to speak with professional, dynamic and motivated individuals with ability to work alone and as part of a team.
Communicative, organised, flexible and committed, you must also:
Have a related degree such as Geology or Civil Engineering
Be computer literate and competent in use of MS Office to create spreadsheets and documents for effective reporting, communication and record keeping.
Have good attention to detail
Have a full clean driving licence and experience of driving
