Mechanical Supervisor - Ireland


I am looking for a Mechanical Supervisor for a section of works in Ireland for a major construction project on a Silicon Wafer plant. This is a 12 month assignment and must be residential in Ireland.

The successful applicant will be expected to supervise contractors and sub contractors, being responsible for their safety, productivity, technical performance and conformance to procedures.

This team provides hands on support to perform field and workshop activities related to repair, modification and refurbishment of a variety of mechanical equipment, such as pumps, compressors, gearboxes, pressure systems, compressor valves, companders and expanders, heat exchangers and pressure vessels.

The minimum requirements for the role are as follows:

  • Formal Mechanical Apprenticeship, BTEC Level 3 / ONC
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with reciprocating and rotating machine maintenance, Mechanical, E&I, Skids installation.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring equipment
  • Materials of machinery
  • Lifting and rigging
  • Schematics and layout drawings
  • Understand maintenance manuals.
  • Previous experience in supervising others in the team.
  • A full driving license and passport are also required.

Applicants need to be based in Ireland or Northern Ireland due to travel restrictions set out by the end client.
